How do I find the user Library folder on my Mac?

If you are being asked to provide log files or delete a directory on your Mac during troubleshooting, it's likely that you need to access the user Library folder. This is also written as ~/Library/ in a path.

By default, this folder is hidden to avoid any issues that can arise from accidentally altering its files.

To access the hidden user Library folder please follow these steps:

  1. Open a Finder window.
  2. Select Go from the menu bar found at the top of the screen.
  3. Hold down the alt/option (⌥) key on your keyboard, which will present the Library folder in the Go dropdown menu.
  4. Click the Library Folder.

To navigate to the Cherry Audio folder that holds instrument log files, presets, and more:

  1. Once in the Library folder, double-click the Application Support folder.
  2. Double-click the CherryAudio folder.

Choose files or drag and drop files
