To roll back to Voltage Modular 2.7.0 on Windows, please follow the steps below.
- Open Windows File Explorer, type %programdata% into the address bar, and navigate to the Voltage folder.
- Delete the contents of the Voltage folder, which should include:
- voltage.jar
- VoltageCommon.dylib
- VRE22 (and possibly VRE17)
- Waveform.data
- Delete the contents of the Voltage folder, which should include:
- Open Windows File Explorer, type %appdata% into the address bar, and navigate to the Voltage folder.
- Delete the following folders:
- Modules
- Cache
- Delete the following folders:
- Next, delete the following plug-in version(s) of Voltage Modular and Voltage Modular FX, as applicable:
- Voltage Modular FX.vst
- Voltage Modular.vst
- Voltage Modular FX.vst3
- Voltage Modular.vst3
- Voltage Modular FX.aaxplugin
- Voltage Modular.aaxplugin
- C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3
- C:\Program Files\Common Files\Avid\Audio\Plug-Ins
- ** C:\Program Files\VST\
**If not in the directory listed above, your VST2 file location depends on the default location reported by the registry or the custom defined location during installation.
